Luigi Bosca was founded in 1901 when Saturnino Arizu purchased a flour mill so as to convert it to use as a winery. Today the extensive subterranean tunnels used to bring water from the Mendoza river to operate the water-mill are now used as dark cellars where wine reposes, achieving its optimum maturation. In 1984 Luigi Bosca`s wines entered the international market. The Arizu family aims to keeps it's traditional values of quality and prestige that have been cultivated over the last 100 years. They add new elements of innovation and technology to offer the best wines of Argentina. They have lots of vineyards in prime bits of Mendoza. In all, the Luigi Bosca estate has around 400 hectares of vines in Luyan de Cujo and Maipu.
Juliana Radavero is the Area Manager for Bodega Luigi Bosca - Familia Arizu, top Premium winery in Argentina from Mendoza. Juliana is responsible for the development and sales of Bodega Luigi Bosca in Europe.
Juliana was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has a family history related to the wine industry and since her childhood, she has inherited the wine passion. From 1880- 1980, for three generations, her family had one of the biggest wineries in San Rafael, Mendoza.

The Principe de Viana group was founded in Navarra in 1983. The group now comprises three bodegas - Principe de Viana, Rioja Vega and Albret, and has become Navarra’s principal exporter. Bodega Principe de Viana controls over 1400 hectares of vines in the Ribera Baja area of Navarra and a new bodega was completed in 2004. Great care is taken over vineyard management and respect for the environment.
We are delighted to welcome Luis Marculeta from Principe de Viana to Direct Wine Shipments and hope you can join us to try the wines of Principe de Viana and Rioja Vega.
